‘Embarrassing’ Manchester United players to be fired from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, warns Roy Keane

Roy Keane has launched a scathing attack on the Manchester United team, suggesting the players could get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer fired.

United were defeated by Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday, conceding six goals at home for the second time in Premier League history.

An unimpressive start to United’s new season was complicated, with two losses and one serendipitous victory in three games, in stark contrast to their showdown last season that saw them clinch third place.

When asked about Sunday’s loss on ITV, Keane said: “I’ve been saying it for the last 12 months, a year and a half … his performance against Spurs was disgraceful.

“You all have bad days in football. Some of the players were an embarrassment to the Man United badge.

“Embarrassing. Too many bluffers and ultimately these players will cost Ole his job.

“The players he has there – they threw the previous coach [Jose Mourinho] under the bus [and] they will do the same with Ole. “
