Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region, has commissioned a block of three-unit classrooms for Salman D / A Junior High School (JHS).

This new building was started by the NDC legislator after inspecting the old school block that was in a deplorable condition and posed as a threat to students and the entire community.

This structure, which was estimated at 200,000 GHC, aims to create an environment conducive to teaching and learning for both students and staff, so that they can focus on their studies.

Speaking at the colorful ceremony, Mr. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah thanked the chiefs and people of Salman for supporting the construction and completion of the project on time.

He also thanked the contractor for taking less than a year to complete the project, “I am very happy because when I brought the contractor to build the block of classrooms I told him to take only one year to complete it but the contractor took less than a year to do it, I am very excited that today the schoolchildren will have a very decent classroom block to learn ”.

He appealed to the school leadership to maintain the structure for a long time.

He also advised students to get serious about their studies to become great personalities in Ghana.

Mr. Armah Buah urged parents to commit to developing their children’s education for a better future, adding that the best investment and legacy they can give their children is when they invest in their education.

He vowed to address other challenges facing the school “God willing, next year we will also build a bathroom for the school and address other challenges.”

The NDC MP seized the opportunity to strongly attack the Akufo-Addo-led government for borrowing more money than any other government with nothing worth showing to Ghanaians.

“Let us know this from 1957 to 2016, this country’s debt was 120 billion Ghana Cedis, but within the four years of the Akufo-Addo-led government from 2017 to date, this government has borrowed 135 thousand million Cedis from Ghana and let us ask ourselves in Salman here what the Akufo-Addo government has done here, ”he said.

He asked, “Where is your One District One Factory in Ellembelle, where is your One Million Dollar Per Constituency, where are the so called One Village One Dam, they have nothing to show, so let’s vote massively against them on December 7th? “.

On corruption, the deputy highlighted that: “Right now what is happening in this country is corruption, even Martin Amidu who trusted Akufo-Addo so much and appointed him as Special Prosecutor has resigned and has called Akufo-Addo as the Mother Serpent Of Corruption Ever In Ghana “.

He charged electorates around: “As we head into the December 7 elections, let’s ask ourselves what this Akufo-Addo government has done for us with these 135 billion Cedis from Ghana, they can’t show us their projects that They have used money to, let’s kick them out and save this country from collapse because if Akufo-Addo wins again they will sell Ghana, but I know with God that NDC will win and make Ghana better again. ”

For his part, the former Assemblyman of the Salman Electoral Area, Excmo. Obeng praised Armah Buah for his good performance in the education sector “Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah has done well, he stands out for awarding scholarships to students, organizing vocational classes for SHS students, mock exams for BECE candidates , teacher support scheme to motivate them, furniture distribution, building so many blocks of classrooms for other schools, including Salman D / A Basic School, God bless you, Hon. Armah Buah for helping Ellembelle.

Salman Community Chief Nana Kwamena Bentum II thanked Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah for the kind gesture and said the facility would go a long way toward improving education in the area.

He appealed to his people to help the school management maintain the facilities.

He also urged them to join the NDC MP to do more for the school and the wider community.

Therefore, Nana Kwamena Bentum II asked the students to respect the authorities and learn to be useful personalities in the community.

Therefore, he took the opportunity to call his people, as a country heading towards the general elections on December 7, to be law-abiding and peaceful citizens.

Also, some of the students who spoke to Daniel Kaku expressed their joy and thanked Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah for building a new block of classrooms for them.

They stated that the new structure would motivate them to learn a lot “We thank the Honorable Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah for this beautiful block of classrooms and we say that Almighty God should bless it and this block of classrooms will help us a lot.”
