Techiman Eleven Wonders ended their 5-match winless streak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon with a massive 3-1 win against Karela United.
The club, despite starting the season on a bright note, have not lived up to expectations. Before today’s game, the team had failed to register a win in their last five matches leaving fans worried.
Against the impressive Karela United side, the odds were not in favor of Eleven Wonders before kick-off.
However, with a demonstration of endurance for 90 minutes, the team has managed to accumulate maximum points in what is considered a well deserved victory.
On the day, Tetteh Nortey scored in 24th minute to give the home team the advantage.
While that tie sent the team into halftime in control of the game, Karela United came back from halftime to score thanks to a shot from star Diawisie Taylor.
With all to play in the final 20 minutes, Eleven Wonders improved their game and scored twice through Nana Kobina Osoh and George Osei Amponsah to clinch a 3-1 win at the end.
