Sharing their concerns with the vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, who visited the Tarkwa market as part of her tour of the region, traders said they look forward to incentives from the NDC for small scale. companies to expand their business.

Gladys Asiamah, a food vendor and one of the market leaders, said, “Sometimes we just sit here all day without people coming to buy our items.”
Furthermore, a leader of the butchers group, Abdul Razak Krurag, expressed support for the NDC, stating that the government has neglected the butchers group.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, responding to their concerns, promised them better livelihoods through profitable trading under NDC management.
