Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Lydia Alhassan dancing with NDC parliamentary candidate John Dumelo
John Dumelo of NDC and Lydia Seyram Alhassan of NPP, who are enthusiastically vying for the parliamentary seat of Ayawaso West Wuogon, were seen dancing together at a charity event held in Okponglo, a suburb of the constituency.
Facing each other and with beaming smiles, the two political rivals put their differences aside as they slowly ‘dazzled’ Kojo Antwi’s ‘Akonoba’.
Not only did they dance, but also holding hands, both parties promised peace and tranquility in the upcoming general elections in December 2020.
Meanwhile, in recent times, the two have been seen on several occasions embarking on development projects in the constituency to get votes for the upcoming elections.
Despite bumping into each other on their campaign platforms, the two have apparently become close as of late.
However, the event that was organized by Yaw Sakyi seeks to contribute more to the community of Ayawaso West Wuogon by feeding 5000 poor, elderly and physically disabled people.
It was also held to promote peace and tolerance before, during and after the December elections.
