A driver ran over a five-year-old boy in Tweeneboa, near Odorkor in Accra, on Christmas Eve, he appeared in Kaneshie District Court.

The prosecution said the victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Korle-Bu University Hospital, but died while receiving treatment the same day.
Inspector Baidoo said the boy’s body had been deposited in the hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
