Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey
Black Stars midfielder Thomas Teye Partey completed his long-awaited deal with Arsenal of the English Premier League on Monday night.
The Gunners, who have 13 English Premier League titles, activated Thomas Partey’s £ 45m buyout clause against Spanish giants Atlético Madrid thirteen minutes before the close of the summer European transfer window to the 2020/2021 season.
The 27-year-old who is currently with his Black Stars teammates in Turkey to prepare for Ghana’s friendly matches against Mali and Qatar ended his 8-year stay with the rojiblancos on Monday night.
The signing of Partey has brought some hope to Arsenal fans around the world as they started shouting his name with the hashtag, No Thomas No Partey.
Arsenal are currently fourth in the league table with 9 points after the first four rounds of games in the 2020/2021 English Premier League season and the addition of Partey could do the magic for coach Mikel Arteta and your charges.
