The founder and leader of the Ministry of the Kingdom of Paradise, the prophet Leon KB Acheampong, has commissioned President Akuffo-Addo to support and absorb the fees of higher education students with the National Cathedral fund.
Bawku Central Member of Parliament Hon Mahama Ayariga previously asked parliament to pass a bill for the government to absorb fees for first-year higher education students.
After three postponements, Parliament made the decision to reject the motion proposed by Mr. Mahama Ayariga that sought to absorb the fees for higher education students for the academic year 2021.
In an interview with Pure Fm’s Osei Kwadwo, the prophet Leon KB Acheampong rebuked the parliament for rejecting the request that Mahama Ayariga sent to the house.
According to him, “I was surprised when I heard some parliamentarians say that the government that pays the fees for tertiary education students will bring financial difficulties.”
“In all countries, education is very important when it comes to development. In this era of Covid, most parents will have a hard time raising money to pay for tertiary education fees. It is time for the government to sacrifice the funds of the National Cathedral to support the students, ”said Prophet Acheampong.
He added that “the construction of the National Cathedral will even bring division and confusion among Christians.”
“The government had better renovate the prayer camps in the country to serve the tourist sites that will help Ghana generate money to support economic growth.
