the The Premier League is back in action this weekend with an intriguing set of accessories to get the pulse racing again.

Arsenal appear to be heading in the right direction with Mikel Arteta, but they won’t get away with rising Fulham, while Leeds United are back in the big moment after a 16-year absence.

Marcelo Bielsa’s boys couldn’t have asked for a harder start as they journey to the home of the champions, as Chelsea kick off their campaign in Brighton on Monday.

As always, Betfair Ambassador Dimitar Berbatov teases the action for Metro.co.uk …

Fulham vs Arsenal

Here we go, Fulham’s first game against Arsenal! No fan in the stadium will be difficult for Fulham in a new league. Arsenal will probably win this, and it’s a tough first match for Fulham, especially with Arsenal driving two trophies. Prediction: 0-3.

Betfair trading fees: Fulham- 2/11, Arsenal- 4/7, Draw- 7/2

Crystal Palace vs Southampton

I think this will be a draw. The first game, two teams in the middle of the table that are even, could be a cautious game. Prediction: 1-1.

Betfair trading fees: Palace- 9/4, So’ton- 6/4, Tie- 9/4

West Ham vs Newcastle

I like West Ham here, like I said, I expect more from them, the fans expect more from them, and Newcastle could be pretty flat after the bad news this summer. Prediction: 2-0.

Betfair trading fees: West Ham- 6/5, Newcastle- 5/2, Draw- 5/2

Liverpool vs Leeds

An interesting start for Leeds! Hard, hard start for them, but I’ll go for a surprise here! I think maybe a draw, sometimes there is a hangover after winning the title and Leeds will be here for their first game back. Prediction: 1-1.

Betfair Exchange Odds: Liverpool- 3/10, Leeds- 1/11, Draw- 2/11

West Brom vs Leicester

yours is hard to call. I think the Leicester experience will help, and maybe Vardy will start to work. Prediction: 1-2

Betfair Exchange Odds: West Brom- 3/1, Leicester- Evens, Draw- 11/4

Spurs vs Everton

What a great game this could be. Two great coaches, two great teams, two teams that have something to show and improve! I hope to see the Spurs start racing and get the 3 points they need so I’ll go with them. Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair trade odds: Spurs- 9/10, Everton- 7/2, Tie- 11/4

Sheffield United vs. Wolves

In my opinion, two teams tied here, it’s very difficult to divide them both. I think this could end in a draw, particularly since it is the first game of the new season. Prediction: 0-0.

Betfair trade odds: Sheffield- 5/2, Lobos- 6/4, Tie- 21/10

Brighton vs Chelsea

First match for Lampard’s new signings, everyone will hope they win, and I am no different. I think they could get off to a brilliant start here. Prediction: 0-4.
