Defender Ampem Dacosta has come off Asante Kotoko on the chin, but suspects that he was deliberately sent off.
Dacosta, 22, who joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 on a three-year deal, had his contract terminated.
The former Karela United captain failed to establish himself and was once linked to a move to the Legon Cities, but that failed to materialize.
“I am not disturbed by Kotoko’s decision to terminate my contract because there are many who looked for this opportunity that I had, I will focus on what lies ahead,” Dacosta told Kumasi FM.
“I have always loved the club and I was never disappointed every time I was called to service. Never surrender.
” This is my profession and I think there are many opportunities elsewhere.
” I want to emphasize that my contract was not terminated for performance. The records are there to prove it, but I think it’s God’s will. Someday the truth will be revealed.
“I thank all the fans for the support they gave me.”
