Speaking on the Que Golazo (h / t Chelsea FC) Podcast, Leeds United winger Jack Harrison revealed the impact Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has had on his career.

The 24-year-old spent the 2016-17 season in MLS’s New York City. This saw him share space with Lampard, who was in the final days of his career as a professional footballer.

Harrison continued to praise the Blues legend, even claiming that his presence helped his development.

“I probably keep more in touch with Lampard, since he is in England.”

Technically a Manchester City player, Harrison has been on loan at Leeds since 2018. He has faced Lampard four times, including two during the Blues boss’ time in Derby County.

Harrison is eager to prove his skill to Lampard and improves his game every time he faces the English legend’s side. While he struggled to make an impact against us this season, he is eager to rectify it next time.

“Whenever I play against Frank I try to show him a point, although last time I didn’t do very well against Chelsea. I hope to redeem myself the next time we face them. “

Lampard isn’t the only superstar Harrison has played with. While in New York, the 24-year-old also shared space with Italian legend Andrea Pirlo.
