The Ghana Audit Service Board challenged the retirement age nationality of Auditor General Daniel Domelovo.
According to the board, Mr. Domelevo must be Togolese who was born around 1960 because of that actual retirement age for June 1, 2020.

Domelovo’s response to the accusations
The embattled Auditor General, Daniel Domelevo, responds to the letter from the Board, explains, says, it is My grandfather, I am a native of Ada for the Greater Accra region, and I emigrate to Togo and stay in Agbatofe.
He further explained that on a date of birth, he discovered that on an earlier date of birth, which he captured as 1960 by mistake, when he checked the information from the baptismal record of the Catholic Church, he passed away in June 1961 for Kwahu Adeemmra.
But the Board of Audit says the explanations still cast doubt on the true details, which they show they say provides false information that is against the law.
So if you consider an age issue, the Board concludes that Mr. Domelevo will be retiring last year around June 2020.
