Actress Tracey Boakye unreservedly apologized to Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) Kennedy Agyapong for insulting him when he claimed that John Dramani Mahama had bought buildings from her in Accra.
The apology comes after the businessman said in an interview that the accusations made against her and John Dramani Mahama were just jokes because he is a man and is aware of how men can become vulnerable when it comes to women.
In reaction to Kennedy Agyapong’s claim that her comment was just a joke, the actress apologized to the legislator telling him to be wary of such allegations in the future, especially during elections.
He indicated that Kennedy Agyapong is his father and regrets the extent to which he broached the subject.
His post read “JOKES ??? Really??? Ok, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, please do not joke about these issues again, especially during an election period. No politician has bought me a house or a car. My man is not a politician. I AM ALSO SORRY FOR THE HARD AND DISRESPECTING WORDS I USED FOR YOU, you are like a father to me and I am your daughter. SORRY, and please, those jokes are too expensive. THANKS”.
