Crystal Palace welcomes Manchester United at Selhurst Park tonight as the visitors seek revenge on the Eagles, having fallen in defeat when the two teams met earlier this season.
Palace won 3-1 in the reverse encounter near the start of the campaign, with former Man United winger Wilfried Zaha scoring twice in that clash with his former club. However, the Ivory Coast international is not expected to show up tonight as an injury sustained early last month will keep him out a bit longer. Zaha’s absence is undoubtedly a serious blow to Roy Hodgson’s side, who come into the match at 13th place in the Premier League.
They are also in mixed form coming into the game, with two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five outings. Meanwhile, second-ranked Man United are 15 points behind their rivals and league leaders Man City, and have also won just two of their last five games. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team is undefeated in that streak, having tied their other three games in that stretch. The title appears to be slipping away from the Red Devils, but nonetheless they hope to narrow the gap with City to 12 points here. Follow the Crystal Palace vs Manchester United live updates below.

Fred plays a bad pass in midfield that is easily intercepted. Townsend moves away on the right flank, but his low center misses a teammate. United have not started the second half well.

Palace has come alive, it seems. Benteke is right to push Ayew off to the right and shoots Henderson directly from an acute angle.

Audacious by Benteke. The last corner of the Palace floats past everyone to the right flank, and when playing back into the area, Benteke attempts a kick from above. He hits it good, but it deviates a bit more from the bar. Palace’s third corner in quick succession is then dealt by United.

Ward lifts the ball toward Benteke in the box, and the forward does well to knock it down and keep a couple of defenders at bay. There is no room to shoot, but he wins a corner. The first piece is taken short and comes to nothing. But Palace will have another …

Rashford runs down the left, takes a touch a little hard but does enough to win a corner. Fernandes winds him up in the area and Kouyate wanders off alone to Maguire, who finds room to cross from the right. Guaita leaves his line to claim the ball.

HALF TIME: CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
The first part ends with a meek crossover from Van Aanholt, which Henderson easily recovers. Palace will be more pleased with the way it has gone, although neither side has really impressed. United, aside from a few half-chances for Rashford and Matic, have been sluggish and unimaginative in the final third, and will need to improve after the break.

Excellent defense by Ward to deny Cavani, who was almost eliminated by a low center from Wan-Bissaka. The right side of the Palace slides to put his foot on the ball against the Uruguayan who stalks.

A determined run by Wan-Bissaka’s right gives United a corner. He is whipped by Fernandes but Milivojevic turns upside down and Palace clears.
