Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has expressed optimism about the return of football soon.
Soccer, the most popular sport in Ghana, has been suspended since March following the coronavirus outbreak.
Speaking at the 26th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Asiamah stated that the government will soon lift authorization for the game to return.

The GFA remains confident of starting the 2020-21 football season in October.
