Ms. Doris Gbongbo, regional director of Bono of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has asked that the directives against the spread of the new coronavirus disease continue to be complied with.

He said that although some restrictions were relaxed, that does not mean that the fight against the pandemic is over.

She said that people should protect themselves by strictly observing preventive guidelines and protocols.

Angry. Gbongbo said this in a meeting with members of the Police Wives Association (POLWA) in Sunyani and Sunyani West municipalities.

The meeting organized by the Commission’s Bono Regional Office was intended to sensitize police wives to the pandemic and allow them to assist in educating them on security protocols and directives.

As part of the agenda, participants were educated about the negative health implications of indiscriminate disposal of used nasal masks and waste.

Angry. Gbongbo asked the women to maintain a clean environment by ensuring good sanitation practices.
