The trial of Coronation Street favorite Yasmeen Nazir at the hands of abusive and controlling husband Geoff Metcalfe is far from over, spoilers revealed.
In the upcoming scenes from the ITV show, Yasmeen defends herself after months of verbal abuse and manipulation by her husband.
He has been controlling her for a while, isolating her from loved ones and not letting her leave the house, and she also does everything he says.
More recently, he started taking her money while getting aggressive with her, and after weeks of constantly cleaning her up, she discovered the antics and made him think she was the problem.
Yasmeen was tricked into believing she had an alcohol problem, and the last episode saw her learn that her unfaithful husband had given her a sexually transmitted infection.
