Coronation Street spoilers: residents light Yasmeen Nazir after Geoff’s “murder”

The trial of Coronation Street favorite Yasmeen Nazir at the hands of abusive and controlling husband Geoff Metcalfe is far from over, spoilers revealed.

In the upcoming scenes from the ITV show, Yasmeen defends herself after months of verbal abuse and manipulation by her husband.

He has been controlling her for a while, isolating her from loved ones and not letting her leave the house, and she also does everything he says.

More recently, he started taking her money while getting aggressive with her, and after weeks of constantly cleaning her up, she discovered the antics and made him think she was the problem.

Yasmeen was tricked into believing she had an alcohol problem, and the last episode saw her learn that her unfaithful husband had given her a sexually transmitted infection.

With the wool pulled out of her eyes, she remains trapped and the events take a surprising turn when she is forced to defend herself in self-defense.

Yasmeen cuts Geoff’s throat with a glass bottle after he turns to her, before she tells the 911 operator that she killed him.

Geoff’s fate remains unknown, but it doesn’t look good for his mortified wife.

Now, from spoilers, it seems that residents will turn on her without realizing the truth behind closed doors.

Geoff isolated her from friends and family and lied to people like Peter Barlow and Cathy Matthews that she is an alcoholic.

As police investigate the deadly incident, they turn to those on the street who have already started talking about the couple.
