Coady has played three games for England to date

Conor Coady and Marcus Rashford will miss England’s remaining international matches in November.

Coady has been forced to isolate himself after discovering that he had inadvertently come into contact with someone prior to the camp who tested positive for COVID-19 via an NHS test and trace alert.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers defender had returned two negative tests as part of FA and UEFA protocol, but, according to UK government guidelines, he must meet a period of self-isolation.

Meanwhile, Rashford’s arrival at camp had initially been delayed to allow for a more detailed assessment of an injury sustained last weekend, but the Manchester United striker will now not face.

They both missed the Three Lions 3-0 win over the Republic of Ireland at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Thursday night. Next is a trip to face Belgium in Leuven on Sunday, before next Wednesday’s home clash with Iceland.
