Come and vote en masse for the PNP tomorrow — President Nurudeen urges

The Northeast Regional President of the New Patriotic Party (PNP), Mr. Fuseini Nurudeen, has warned everyone, especially residents of the region, to unite and vote en masse for President Akufo-Addo and the various PNP parliamentary candidates to carry out the party’s agenda to win the six seats in the area.

He asked them not to be complacent assuming that the PNP has already won the elections, but to come out tomorrow and exercise their civil responsibility to allow the party to retain power and continue its good works.

“We don’t want surprises, so let’s try to vote and encourage others to vote for us. We are winning but we must make sure we win,” he said.

In a statement issued Sunday, Nurudeen pleaded with all PNP supporters to avoid any form of violence before, during and after the elections.

“Being a very peaceful and law-abiding party, I will ask all members and / or supporters of the PNP to avoid any form of violence before, during or after the elections. We cannot build our country and take it to the next level with violence. I defend peace, and all the members of the PNP as well. In case of any problem, let us not take the law into our own hands, but rather report it to the security services or the EC. Violence is never an option, “he added. .

SUMMARY OF OUR 2020 CAMPAIGN AND MY MESSAGE OF THANKS.

Yesterday, we lowered the curtain on our 2020 election campaign with a tour of the Walewale constituency. Over the past few months, we have traversed the far and wide, nooks and crannies of the entire Northeast region with our message.

Our campaign has built on the outstanding performance of the Nana-Bawumia government over the past four years, which has seen nearly all of our 2016 campaign promises fulfilled or unfulfilled. As the saying goes, a good term deserves another, much more, of the caliber of President Akufo-Addo. We have conducted a highly effective campaign, devoid of opposition confusion or violence. Our goal has been to get our beautiful message across to the people of Ghana, especially the people of the Northeast region.

As a party, we have been blessed with a government that has exceeded its expectations, with unprecedented achievements in just four years. Thus, we have been spoiled by many campaign messages and the warm reception provided to us everywhere we went, along with thousands of defections, including NDC constituencies and district executives, vindicates our performance as a party in government.

As I go to the polls tomorrow, I wish to remind my fellow citizens, particularly the citizens of the Northeast region, of the need for us to retain the PNP government in power to complete the myriad of development projects distributed equitably throughout the country. region. The Northeast region itself is a baby of President Akufo-Addo and therefore must be allowed to nurse and care until maturity. Anything other than the victory of the NPP will slow the growth of our beloved region and, indeed, of Ghana as a whole.

We are very confident of victory, Insha Allah, because despite being in government and acting credibly, we have campaigned as if we were in the opposition for the sole reason that we respect the people of Ghana and will never give it up. seated. Everyone has been fully involved in the campaign, from our visionary and highly competent presidential candidate to his workaholic, scholarly and affable running mate, to ordinary party members and supporters. The beautiful and supportive wives of the President and his Vice President deserve to be noted for adding another layer to our campaign that no other political party can boast.

For us in the PNP, the 2020 elections are a choice between progress (number 1 on the ballot) or backward movement (number 2 on the ballot). Ghanaians are very discernible people and, contrary to what others may think, we do not have a short memory. We still remember the regime that gave us untold suffering, made us live in dummors for four years, mismanaged our economy, froze employment, canceled assignments to teachers and nurses, etc.

We can also tell the government that it has restored allowances for nurses and teachers-in-training, brought in free SHS, secured a working NHIS, removed Ghana from the IMF, brought in NABCO, continues to employ thousands of graduates, provided us with stability, affordability and reliability. Electricity, free water, it has expanded the economy, rapidly industrializing the country, it has brought state-of-the-art ambulances to each of the 275 electoral districts, it has distributed the national cake fairly and equitably, etc.

We have not been complacent, but it is easy to choose between these two governments. The PNP government led by His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has performed far better than the incompetent former President Mahama, who is seeking a comeback to continue the destruction of the economy from where he stopped under the NDC banner. . We must secure our future by rejecting John Mahama and the NDC when we go to the polls tomorrow.

I wish to thank Almighty Allah for His mercy, guidance and protection throughout our campaign. I would also like to thank the President and Vice President and the PNP leadership for their support, guidance, and encouragement. There is also great thanks to the Supreme Lord of Mamprugu, Naa-Bohagu and all the chiefs, religious and opinion leaders of the Northeast region for their support and wise advice. Our campaign would not have been so successful and peaceful without them. To my fellow regional executives and members of the regional campaign team, all I can say is may God reward you all for the sleepless nights, the battles, the stress, and for being one of the strongest pillars I stand on. as regional president. .

I want to thank our parliamentary candidates for their cooperation and sacrifices as I wish them the best of luck in the elections. To the trusted presidents of my constituency and their executives, I wish unity and continuity in the service of the party. For all women’s groups, youth groups and volunteer groups, you were the spice of the campaign and certainly our imminent victory would not have been easier without you.

I wish all party members who were injured while serving the party a speedy recovery and I assure you that the party will always remember their sacrifices. May Allah grant us all good health and prosperity. And to our fallen compatriots, may all find rest and forgiveness from our creator as they watch our victory from heaven with smiles. We love them all, but Allah loves them more.

Finally, I want to encourage all of us to come out in our number and vote for President Akufo-Addo and our PNP parliamentary candidates to carry out our 6/6 agenda. We would have wasted our time campaigning if we had not gone out to vote en masse for the PNP in our numbers. Let’s not be complacent assuming NPP has already won. We don’t want any surprises, so let’s try to vote and encourage others to vote for us. We are winning but we must make sure we win.

Being a very peaceful and law-abiding party, I will ask all members and / or supporters of the PNP to avoid any form of violence before, during or after the elections. We cannot build our country and take it to the next level with violence. I defend peace, and all members of the PNP must also do so. In the event of any problem, let’s not take the law into our own hands, but report it to the security services or the EC. Violence is never an option.

I am already excited about achieving our agenda of winning all six parliamentary seats in this region for the PNP. May Allah bless us all.
