Black Stars coach CK Akonnor appointed a 32-man home team to begin preparation for next month’s African Cup of Nations double-headed qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe.

Ghana is scheduled to face the Bafana Bafana in the fifth round of the qualifying rounds before facing Sao Tome and Principe in the final tie.

The Black Stars are tied 9 points at the top of the standings in Group C after four games with two games to play.

Later, the team will join other foreign players for the two qualifiers. These players must report to the M Plaza Hotel in Accra on Monday, February 15, 2021.
