CIMAF Ghana donates to the Police Service and 4 other institutions

CIMAF Cement Ghana, one of the leading cement manufacturers in Ghana, has donated sacks of cement to five institutions across the country as part of its corporate social responsibility to the state.

The company that has a high sense of responsibility to preserve the environment and improve the standard of living of Ghanaians presented bags of cement to the Ghana Police Service, Legon Branch, Atebubu Senior High School in the Bono East region, Apam Senior High School in Central Region, Holy Child Basic School in Fijai in Western Region, as well as the Air Force Base in Takoradi.

When the team arrived at Apam High School, Academic Vice Principal James Frimpong – Manso was very grateful for the gesture as the donation will aid in the construction / completion of the ICT center.

At Atebubu Senior High School, the chairman of the board, Dr. Camara Kwasi Obeng, expressed his thanks to Cimaf for what he called the gigantic response.

I was particularly grateful that this is the largest response the school has received from any cooperating entity.

Gifty Eshun Sankah, director of Holy Child Practice Basic School in Fijai in the metropolis of Sekondi Takoradi, has expressed concern about the infrastructure challenges facing the school, especially after a storm ripped off its roofs.

Therefore, she is grateful to CIMAF.

While in the western region, squad leader Nsiah Boakye, officer in charge of the Takoradi Air Force Base who received the donation, said that improving development in all sectors of the country should not depend solely on the efforts of the government, but of a shared responsibility.

Sales and Marketing Director Joseph Kobina Aboo added that the company will continue to support various institutions.

He urged everyone to help protect the environment, as destroying it will make human existence unhealthy.
