Petr Cech will start for Chelsea in Premier League 2 game against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday
According to Chelsea legend The Athletic, Petr Cech will don the club’s jersey for a competitive game on Monday.
His return to goal for the Blues will be against Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League 2 game. It will be his first competitive game in 19 months.
Cech’s last game was against us with Arsenal in the 2019 Europa League final.
He would return to Bridge a few days later as the club’s technical and performance director. It was a kind of homecoming for a player who spent 11 years in goal for us.

Despite hanging up his gloves, Cech continues to train with Chelsea’s goalkeepers. While he may not be the dynamic goalkeeper he once was, his experience and know-how would add a lot to young Chelsea.
