Bayern Munich are ready to wait for the right moment for Chelsea’s youngster, Callum Hudson-Odoi
According to Goal (h / t Football.london), Bayern Munich are willing to be patient in their search for Chelsea’s youngster, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The player was a topic of interest to the European champions in October. Bayern were eager to sign the player on a one-season loan with an option to buy. Chelsea, however, rejected the offer. (h / t The Daily Mail)
The youngster signed a lucrative five-year deal with Chelsea in 2019. With his future at the club secured, the Blues have all the aces when it comes to any transfer.
According to the report, Bayern are not intimidated after being detained and will instead bide their time.
The Bavarian giants will not make any moves for the player in January. However, they have not ruled out a possible return in the future.
Hudson-Odoi is seen as a key target for the Germans, who have been pursuing him for two years. But Bayern already have a Hudson-Odoi-like player.
Juventus star Douglas Costa is currently on loan at the Allianz Arena and is eager to make the deal permanent. If that happens, it could at least cause Bayern to postpone the Hudson-Odoi decision.
Hudson-Odoi has struggled to gain playing time this season. The youngster has fallen into the hierarchy and is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.
Despite his struggles, he is held in high esteem at Stamford Bridge. At just 20 years old, he has many years left to make sure he becomes a key player for us.
