Antonio Rudiger, eager to regain his place at Chelsea
Speaking to The Athletic, Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has revealed that he is determined to regain his position at the club.
The German international has been left out of the squads for several days this season. He still has a minute to play and the closest he’s ever come is a bench spot in our first game of the season against Brighton.
Rudiger was expected to leave the club on loan, but ultimately decided to stay rather than join Tottenham Hotspur.
“There was the possibility of a loan agreement, to be able to have more playing time. Due to many different reasons and a shortage of time, nothing materialized in the end. “

According to the report, Rudiger does not believe the club tried to force him out the door.
