The Ghana Election Commission has set aside September 18-25 for the display of the newly compiled voter record across the country.

This allows Ghanaians who participated in the voter registration exercise to verify and confirm their details in the registry.

Ghanaians who identify some problems with their data in the registry will have the opportunity to correct them during the period of the exhibition.

People with tight schedules who cannot visit the fairgrounds, can consult their data from their mobile phones.

To verify your details over the phone, go to your mailbox and send your voter identification number to 1422 and follow all instructions that will be given to you.

These people can visit the EC offices in your district to correct all errors.

The Electoral Commission compiled a new voter census from June 30 to August 6, 2020 after several protests by various CSOs and opposition parties with the National Democratic Congress at the forefront.

Some 16,663,669 people were registered in the new electoral roll at the end of the year that had projected to register 15 million eligible voters.
