CBOD congratulates the elected deputies of the energy sector

The Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors (CBOD) would like to congratulate all the key players in the energy sector who won or kept their parliamentary seats in the recently concluded elections.

At least seven influential men and one woman in Ghana’s energy sector will be members of Parliament when the new legislative assembly takes office on January 7, 2021.

Among them are the Minister of Energy, Peter Amewu (Hohoe), the Deputy Minister of Energy, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam (Karaga) and the former Minister of Energy, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah (Ellembele).

The remainder are Joseph Cudjoe (Effia), Energy Minority Spokesperson, John Jinapor (Yapei Kusawgu) and the former Minister of Energy, Dr. Kwabena Donkor (Pru East).

Others are the Executive Director of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Hassan Tampuli (Gushegu), a member of the NPA Board, Ama Pomaa Boateng (Juaben) and the Deputy Minister of Energy, William Owuraku Aidoo (Afigya Kwabre South).

“These are some of the best brains we have in the energy sector in Ghana today,” CBOD Chief Executive Senyo Hosi said in a statement.

Mr. Hosi praised the elected parliamentarians for the way they conducted themselves in the pre-election campaign and assured that the CBOD is willing to positively engage with them in developing and implementing policies that will boost the energy sector.
