NDC communication officer in Bono East, Kwadwo Adjei-Dwomo, says there was no fight as reported at the funeral of the late Nsiah Kojo, 38, the deputy regional youth organizer of NDC’s Bono East.

“The funeral was peaceful and he rests in peace”, said in Ordered FMthe morning programGhana Montie ‘.

Some supporters of the current PNP and the opposition NDC were reported to have exchanged blows over the weekend at the funeral of the late Nsiah Kojo.

At the funeral, which was held at Kintampo Presby Park, it was announced that supporters of the PNP would like their pallbearers to transport the body.

The local PNP leadership explained that although Nsiah was a member of the NDC, he had relatives in the PNP, so the gesture will go a long way to confirm the good relationship between the two parties, but the NDC did not agree.

The report says that the Scout Group of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) tried to intervene to take over the process of transporting the corpse so that peace would prevail, but that was also rejected by supporters of the NDC.

This created a lot of chaos at the funeral, which resulted in an exchange of blows.

But Kwadwo Adjei-Dwomo insisted that “there was no fight” despite video evidence circulating on social media.
