Ghanaian forward Bismarck Appiah was right when Hadiya Hossana maintained her perfect start to the season in Ethiopia with a win over Sidama Coffee.
The 25-year-old scored his team’s second in a 3-1 victory over Sidama to top the Ethiopia best flights leaderboard.
Ugandan forward Isaac Isinde put the visitors, Hadiya Hossana, ahead after five minutes.
In a hotly contested match, Hidaya doubled his lead two minutes after the break after a quiet finish by Ghanaian forward Bismarck Appiah.
Salif Fofana put the game out of Sidama’s reach after scoring in the 55th minute.
With the three points sealed by Hossana, the home side went ahead through striker Git Gatkoch, who started his first game of the season.
Appiah scored his first goal of the season after three games to help Hidaya Hossana reach the top of the league.
