Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated GH ¢ 10,000 each to support the construction of a church building and Makaranta for the people of Gbingbani in the Yunyoo district of the northeast region.

Dr. Bawumia made the donation during a community interaction with the chiefs and people of Gbingbani in Yunyoo district in the northeast region.

Addressing the community, Vice President Dr. Bawumia said it is his wish that the Christ Church building and the Makaranta, for which he is donating, be completed in time to allow his fellow Christians and Muslim students to have a place for your worship and education.

“I have been informed that the construction of the Church of Christ and the Makaranta projects are ongoing. I want to see these projects completed on time. For this reason, I am donating 10,000 CDs each for its completion. “

Dr. Bawumia, who is in the northeast region for a six-day campaign tour, had previously visited the communities of Mabonbori, Tombu and Kabulani in the Chereponi constituency.

During the tour, the vice president has been reminding electorates of the myriad of problems that the country faced under the NDC administration led by John Mahama before the 2016 elections, and how President Akufo-Addo has brought about significant policies, he said are positively impacting Ghanaians.

With the harmattan season approaching in the north, Dr. Bawumia said the government’s policy of One Village One Dam will be meaningful to northern farmers during the dry season, urging them to vote en masse for the NPP to protect these legacies. .
