“Indeed, together with all health workers and the support of our traditional leaders and other key stakeholders, we have demonstrated our outstanding commitment to promoting the health and well-being of all residents of Ghana.
“We will continue to support our agenda to build a robust, resilient and sustainable healthcare system for current and future generations.”
Regretting the absence of a maintenance culture for the facilities, Vice President Bawumia expressed satisfaction that the scope of Tolon and other projects have been designed to address maintenance and sustainability issues with a post-completion maintenance and training program. 2 years.
“In this regard, I will ask the Ghana Health Service to contact the Contractor’s maintenance team to maintain the hospital effectively.
“Beyond the 2-year period, I expect a full transfer of knowledge and skills so that the hospital does not deteriorate as has happened with most public facilities. The joy we share today must be translated into the maintenance and management of this facility ”, he emphasized.
