Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil offered his thoughts on Barcelona ahead of La Liga’s trip to Camp Nou on Wednesday.
Alguacil’s men have enjoyed a good start to the season and are nine points ahead of Barça in the table, but the Real Sociedad coach is wary of the threat his team faces.
The 49-year-old also feels that Barca will go a long way if they can get Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi into top form at the same time.
“I see that Barcelona is in a strong moment. They may be inconsistent, but that’s because they don’t take chances. In every game that they play, they are creating enough chances to win.
“What happens is that they don’t always hit the goal, but there have been games in which they have scored five against Real Betis or four against Villarreal.
“I think [Griezmann] He’s creating a lot, even though he could score more goals. So I think Lionel Messi is still the best LaLiga player, the one who causes the most disruption. Barcelona will be unstoppable as they are both in good shape ”.
