Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has accused Getafe defender Allan Nyom of saying “very ugly things” to him during his team’s surprise 1-0 defeat in Madrid.

Nyom fouled eight times during the match and received a yellow card, but Bordalas defended the Cameroonian international.
“Nyom lives the games at a very high level, but he is a very respectful person,” Bordalas said after the game. “I doubt that I would have disrespected him [Koeman]. I don’t tolerate that from my players. I don’t like to feed the controversy, but it seems that when we always win, the only topic of conversation is the non-sports aspect and never the merit of Getafe ”.
Against Getafe, Koeman played Antoine Griezmann in a central role up front after having played him on the right of Barça’s three-man attack in the previous three league games.

Koeman had reminded the striker earlier in the week that “the coach is in control” when deciding the best position for Griezmann.

Barcelona manager Guillermo Amor backed Koeman and said that Griezmann should play where the coach tells him to play.
