The 31-year-old was replaced by Lucas Moura in the 78th minute and appeared to be signaling a concern to the physio as he made his way to his seat at the Hawthorns.
He was later seen with a large ice pack on his leg, suggesting that he was treating an injury sustained during the crash.
There is no official information on the severity of the blow or if he will have to miss a game.
Bale is on the Wales squad as he prepares for a triple international match against the United States, Ireland and Finland starting next week.
Wales are already grappling with the problem of being without their manager Ryan Giggs during games after his arrest on Sunday on suspicion of assaulting a woman.
Bale’s start against the Baggies meant it was the first time fans were able to see his coveted three forwards, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, but they were put down for much of the draw by the home team.
