PassionAir Operating Performance Results for January 2021

COVID-19 test reduced to $ 50 for ECOWAS citizens at KIA

Emirates to distribute daily COVID-19 vaccines
The largest airline in the Middle East, Emirates, in collaboration with DP World, have partnered to ensure the daily distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to countries with low storage capacity, especially in Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
This initiative will help support the distribution of the two billion doses of the WHO COVID-19 vaccine that will be purchased under the Covax Program.
RwandAir Eyeing flights to New York
RwandAir plans to fly to New York if the United States authorities accept its request. Based on available information, the airline has submitted an application to the US Department of Transportation and, if its application is approved, the airline intends to fly from Kigali to New York via Accra by the end of December 2021 .

Africa World Airlines publishes operational statistics for January 2021
Africa World Airlines operational performance data for January 2021 shows a total of 1,191 flights scheduled during the month, four flights delayed more than two hours and the number of passengers booked was also 45,000 with no passengers denied boarding.

Emirates enhances smart contactless travel
As part of its effort to improve smart and contactless service in its airport operations, Emirates has made it possible to operate its self-check-in and baggage delivery kiosks at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 without contact. All 32 self-service baggage delivery machines and 16 check-in kiosks can now be fully controlled by passengers’ personal mobile devices without touching the screens
