It’s a word that infuriates Jurgen Klopp, at least when it is on the lips of Manchester United’s great Roy Keane and applied after a win over Arsenal.
However, the Liverpool manager may have little objection to the use of Emile Heskey, as he does just days after Aston Villa annihilated his team.
With one foot in both fields, as a former Liverpool and Villa player, Heskey has described how impressed he was by the Reds’ lack of display and Villa’s excellence.
Speaking to Sky Sports’ The Football Show, the former England striker didn’t hold back: “I think it’s just about putting all the mistakes in one hat. Everything that could have gone wrong for part of the season went wrong in this game.
“Isolated players one by one and then the great shot from Aston Villa taking advantage of the opportunity.
“There is one thing that creates opportunities, but another that creates opportunities, and then, obviously, also deviations, they don’t pick up and allow people to enter.
“It was very, very, I wouldn’t want to use the word sloppy, but it was sloppy.
“You have to take your hat off against Aston Villa, who have brought in players and are consolidating in an exceptional way and are producing now.
