The former Dynamo Moscow attacker has responded to allegations of alleged abuse during a tennis match in Accra

Former Ghana international Baffour Gyan has rejected the assault allegations against him and his brother, Asamoah Gyan, the all-time starter of the Black Stars national team after a tennis match in Accra on Wednesday.

The incident allegedly occurred after a singles match between Asamoah Gyan and plaintiff Godwin Martey, where Baffour acted as a referee, according to the Myjoyonline report.

Baffour denied the allegations on Pure FM radio.

“Me and Asamoah Gyan did not shake hands with Godwin Martey. It was just an exchange of words. Spirits were high so some of the words were harsh and I apologize for that, but we didn’t fight him physically. How can we fight in the soldier’s premises? “Baffour responded to the allegations on Pure FM.

According to Myjoyonline, Godwin was frustrated during the game due to the decisions of referee Baffour Gyan.

Since then, Martey has threatened to sue the Gyans on assault charges.

Myjoyonline reports that a complaint has been made at the cantonment police station in Accra.
