Asamoah Gyan has asked his Legon Cities FC teammates to improve their game against Medeama SC.

The Royals will host Medeama SC at Accra Sports Stadium in their matchday three game.

The club has collected 1 point from its two games played and has conceded four in the process.

Cities are currently at the bottom of the table and have hired Bashir Hayford to stabilize the ship after firing Bosnian Goran Barjaktarevic.

Gyan believes that a change in the team’s fortunes will have to be brought about by a change in the dedication levels of the players.

“I think it’s something about our attitude, we are not giving enough.

“We have had a couple of meetings and the players have agreed that our attitude towards the games is not the best.

“It is quite unfortunate that we have played two games and only have one point

“Sometimes it happens, but what we have to do is show our aggressiveness on the field.

Meanwhile, Gyan has been named to the Legon Cities team for the clash.

Gyan is already eager to start running at the club.

In a tweet, the former Sunderland striker said: “Let’s play my first game for my club, Ghana football is great again in Legon Cities, great to be back in the Ghana Premier League. #BringBackTheLove #GPLwk 3.”

The game starts at 6pm.
