Media reports claim that the forward’s sale price has become a barrier between a possible move
Asamoah Gyan commercial manager Samuel Anim Addo has revealed speculation that the Ghana striker is demanding an amount of $ 500,000. [€426,530] from Asante Kotoko before joining the local giants are fake.

Gyan’s last stint at the club was a four-month stint with NorthEast United of the Indian Super League between September last year and January this year.
“Kotoko has said that they like him because he once said that one day he will play for Kotoko, but for now, no club has approached him with any offers,” Anim Addo told Graphic Sports in August.
“Gyan has received offers from Europe and Asia, but if Kotoko can meet our terms, why not?”
Gyan also previously played for Italian team clubs Modena, Rennes in France, Al Ain and Al Ahli Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Shanghai SIPG in China and the Turkish fold Kayserispor.
The veteran forward is currently Ghana’s most capped player and all-time top scorer with 109 Black Stars appearances and 51 goals.
