Arsenal are expected to have a busy transfer window in January after a sloppy start to the Premier League season.
The Gunners are currently 15th in the table and could go down elsewhere if Brighton wins their game against Southampton on Monday.
They were the second best against Tottenham and were punished with two counterattack goals.
Despite improving their defense during the summer window, they have still been sending goals and are expected to focus on their attack in January.
Here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumors …
Gunners do investigation of John Stones
Arsenal have asked Manchester City to keep them informed about the future of John Stones, according to 90min.com.
Stones has been linked to Arsenal numerous times, since Unai Emery was in charge.
Arteta has made numerous center-back additions since he replaced Emery, including players like Pablo Mari, Cedric Soares and Gabriel Magalhaes.
But Arsenal have reportedly told City that they want to be informed of the Stones’ availability before a possible move in January.
Aouar available in January
Houssem Aouar has told Lyon that he wants to leave before the end of the season, according to reports.
The young playmaker was Arsenal’s main target in the summer transfer window, but the Gunners failed to agree on a fee.
They were told to pay a fee of around £ 55 million for the young man, eventually deciding to look elsewhere.
Now, however, they could be in luck, as reports indicate that he is eager to leave the club before the season ends.
Real Madrid could snatch transfer target
Real Madrid have reportedly contacted RB Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Hungary international is believed to be Arsenal’s main target in the January transfer window, with the Austrian team reportedly selling him for £ 18 million.
Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is said to have called Szoboszlai to urge him to sign for Los Blancos over Arsenal in a blow to the Gunners’ chances.
Szoboszlai was reportedly seen as a cheaper alternative to Aouar.
