Arsenal achieved back-to-back Premier League victories on Tuesday night when Alexandre Lacazette’s goal was enough for the visitors at Amex Stadium.
The Gunners beat Chelsea on Boxing Day and less than 72 hours later, they managed to beat Brighton & Hove Albion on the South Coast in two much-needed victories for Mikel Arteta.
However, despite recent strong form, Arteta will have no illusions when the January transfer window opens.
His team has linked up with a host of new players looking to bolster their squad for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
With that in mind, here’s the latest summary of Arsenal-related transfer stories and rumors.

Rekik set for doctors
Hertha Berlin defender Omar Rekik received permission from his club to undergo a medical examination at Arsenal, according to BILD.
The report indicates that Per Mertesacker was determined to sign Rekik in the summer window, but was unable to complete a deal in time.
Now the 19-year-old will reportedly complete a medical examination at the Emirates Stadium ahead of a £ 600,000 move proposal in January.
The Gunners are ready to put Rekik directly into their U23 squad, but he will also have the opportunity to train with the first team squad.
Isco talks on the move
Arsenal are now in talks to sign Real Madrid playmaker Isco in January, according to a Telegraph report.
Negotiations are at an early stage, the report states, but the 28-year-old has been identified as the perfect creative player that Arteta currently lacks with the Gunners.
Isco is eager to leave Madrid after a frustrating season due to limited first-team chances with Zinedine Zidane.
However, the north London club is not the only team interested in the Spanish international, as Sevilla are already trying to close a deal.

Sutton believes that Arsenal will have to spend a lot in Buendía
Chris Sutton believes Arsenal will have to spend much more than the £ 15 million price reported for Norwich City star Emi Buendia.
Buendía has been linked to a move to numerous Premier League clubs, including the Gunners, and the Canaries are reportedly demanding 15 million pounds for his services.
However, Sutton has told BBC Radio 5 Live that it will be worth much more than that.
“£ 15 million, are you kidding me? It’s worth double, come on. That’s an insult. Why would Buendia sell for £ 15 million in January when it is so important to getting the Norwich promotion? That’s not worth £ 15 million, “said the former Norwich striker.
