Arsenal have re-signed Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on a loan, the club announced on Friday.
The 24-year-old spent the 2019-20 season with Arsenal and made it clear that he wanted another season with the North London team.

Sources told ESPN that Mikel Arteta had been in regular contact with Ceballos over the summer break and it was a combination of that and his friendship with several of his teammates that convinced him to stay with the Gunners.
After the deal was announced, Arteta said: “Dani was an integral part of our team last season and finished the season in excellent shape. I love Dani’s passion and commitment and he is a very skilled player. We are delighted to give him welcome back. and we look forward to seeing you pick up where you left off. “
Ceballos began preseason training with Madrid, but subsequently flew to London to meet Arsenal before his first Premier League game against Fulham on 12 September.
The midfielder impressed in the second half of the 2019-20 campaign, ending the campaign with 24 league appearances and starting in the FA Cup final victory over Chelsea last month.
