The 2,000 Arsenal fans who made it to the Emirates could go home happy when Arsenal swept Rapid Vienna 4-1 in the Europa League on Thursday night.
With the crowd back on the ground for the first time since March, a fine shot from Alexandre Lacazette and a header from Pablo Mari put the Gunners in control against their Austrian opponents.
Eddie Nketiah nodded on a third goal on the second down just before half-time, and after Koya Kitagawa cut one for the visitors, substitute Emile Smith Rowe added Arsenal’s fourth.

It seemed a bit silly when Arsenal conceded, which is not ideal as it is their job to prevent that from happening.

He came back from injury, scored a beautiful header, looked handsome, and became captain when Arteta decided he had fun with Mustafi.

He ran a bit and then got off on time, no doubt needing to lower his head before the weekend.
It’s strange how suddenly it’s one of the important ones.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles: 8

He seemed to say “welcome back” to Smith Rowe when he also set his goal for him, which is probably what Milner would have said in such a situation.
There could be a direct correlation between the positions you can play in and how healthy you are.

Good, although at times he seemed to be too eager to force the subject, probably because he will be desperate to get in on the weekend.

Nicolas Pepe : 6
Still on the mischievous stride of the Europa League, but he seemed to respond positively to the insistence of 2,000 Arsenal fans, which at least counteracts the fact that millions of them turn him down online.
