Another shooting incident that occurred in Tech-Ayeduase, a Kumasi suburb in the Ashanti region, has come to our attention on Tuesday morning.
According to a report received, the deceased [private KIA saloon driver] He first argued with a female driver while they were all in traffic and pulled his gun out of his car.
The report says that, an okada rider (Aboboyaa operator) who tried to prevent the man[ KIA saloon driver] of the shooting he was fired three times at point-blank range.
The operator (from Aboboyaa) was shot three times in the stomach. It is not clear whether the [KIA saloon driver] he intended to shoot the lady with the gun or not.
Within minutes of the incident, residents began confronting the suspect, but he shot himself in the head and died on the spot.
His body has been deposited in the morgue of the Komfo Anokye University Hospital pending the autopsy.
The Ayeduase police investigating the matter have yet to speak about it.
According to an eyewitness report, the Okada cyclist is currently in critical condition and is still receiving treatment at a health facility.
Ayeduase Assembly Member Kotei Twumduase, Attobrah Election Area Judge, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, said:
“There was a misunderstanding between two pilots at the Ayeduase pilots which resulted in fights between the two pilots”
“A guy named Amoah tried to break up the fight, but an angry driver got into his car and shot our brother Amoah after he (the driver) directed his anger at him. He was shot dead when he saw a police vehicle arrive at the scene. “
