The deceased was found dead on the side of the road.
Another policeman has fallen dead on the roadside in Antie Aku near Awoshie Abrantie in the Central Ga and Ablekuma North municipal districts of the Greater Accra region.
Rapid Deployment Force Headquarters Sergeant Timothy Jabuni was found dead in the vicinity of his residence with no visible signs of violence suggesting that he may have been attacked or involved in violent confrontations with others.
Anyaa District Police Investigators revealed to MyNewsGh.com that the deceased was found Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. in black pants and a red T-shirt lying dead by the side of the road.
According to them, upon arrival at the scene, the body was inspected but no trace of violence was found, but it was later transferred to the morgue of the police hospital for preservation.
After inquiries made in the neighborhood, it was established that the deceased was a policeman on duty at RDF Headquarters.
This comes just days after three policemen died in 24 hours in various circumstances, according to confirmed reports that sparked fear among their colleagues.
