Member of Parliament for Nkoranza North, Derek Oduro
The Deputy Minister of Defense and Member of Parliament (MP) of Nkoranza Norte in the Bono Este region, Major (retired) Derek Oduro was booed over the weekend in a community in his constituency.
In a video that is trending on social media, the MP and his team who were in one of the communities in their constituency are seen being fired by angry residents who were heard yelling, “Get out, get out!”
Voters booed as campaign vehicles sped out of the area. Residents were angered by the fact that the deputy did not fulfill his campaign promises before the 2016 elections.
For them, they are fed up with the incessant lies and will not encourage it as the country goes to the polls on December 7.
Retired military major Derek Oduro entered Parliament in 2007 and has served in various capacities.
