Ander Herrera leapt to the defense of former Man Utd teammate Paul Pogba, and claimed that the Frenchman can be instrumental in leading the club’s revival.
Pogba has been the subject of persistent attacks by experts for his lack of commitment to United, as his agent, Mino Raiola, continually talks about a move elsewhere.
The 27-year-old has appeared only eight times for The Red Devils this season, with his future at the end of the campaign still up in the air.
However, as the season restart approaches, Pogba appears ready to return to action after an injury, and Herrera feels that the star has an important role to play in changing the club’s fortune.
