President Akufo-Addo appointed Amoah Evans as the District Executive Director (DCE) of the Bia East District Assembly in the North West Region.
This was in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the constitution and section 20 (1) of the Local Government Law, Law 936.
A statement from the Ministry of Local Government, the Minister of the North Western Region, Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu and the Regional Election Commission would carry out the confirmation process of the designated District Executive.
Born in Sefwi Adabokrom in the North West region, Mr. Evans is married with one son.
He studied Business Administration at All Nations University and completed Juaboso Senior High School.
He has held various political positions for the New Patriotic Party (PNP) at the university, the Juaboso constituency and Bia East.
Amoah Evans was the former president of TESCON at All Nations University, the former acting director of communication in the Juaboso constituency for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and currently the NPP communication director for Bia East.
