The Regional Youth Organizer of the Savannah regional branch of the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) has argued that the administration led by Nana Akufo-Addo has performed better than the administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Raphael Akati Mahama said that the NPP has done more for the people of his region than the NDC during his 8 years in office.

He stated that the Akufo-Addo-led government has created employment opportunities in the region for youth in all political divisions through its many social intervention programs in the seven districts of the region.

Mr. Akati Mahama was addressing the press in Damongo, West Gonja Township, as part of his program called: “Youth Must Know Series”.

He stated that “the recruitment of security services in general as decentralized and depoliticized, unlike before, has seen 309 youth recruited from the Savannah region through the political divide. Nana Addo’s ‘almighty’ Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), which came to rescue thousands of young and unemployed graduates, did not leave the land of Yagbon. “

The Regional Youth Organizer noted that the government’s decentralized Ghana Education Service (GES) recruitment led by Nana Addo numbered 463 and 168 teaching and non-teaching staff, respectively, across the region.

On infrastructure, he said the benefits in the region are unprecedented, adding that the youth of the children’s region are benefiting enormously from ongoing development projects.

He cited the construction of an ultra-modern Food Roads Department in Salaga, a multi-story Regional Health Directorate in Daboya, the construction of the Regional Agricultural Department in Bole, and the ongoing construction of a state-of-the-art Regional Coordinating Council in the capital Damongo. .

“From the narrative above, it is probably clear at first glance from the published evidence that the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, has outperformed candidate Mahama and his NDC in his home region,” said Raphael Mahama.

Furthermore, he called on the people of the Savannah region to reward the NPP government with a second term and also vote en masse for their parliamentary candidates in all constituencies.

“A leader is one who knows the way, follows the way and shows the way and what you have done. Yes indeed, our brother from afar Kyebi has proven to be a better brother than our brother from Bole / Bamboi ”, he insisted.
