As the country eagerly awaits the Election Commission to declare the final results of the December 7 elections, President Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia appear relaxed.
In a video seen by Myjoyonline.com, the duo are seen sitting in President Akufo-Addo’s study at his residence in Nima as they closely follow the meal on television.
Some NPP delegates were also seen in the video dressed in white and smiling.
Previously, Joy News projected that New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will win the tight 2020 election.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate obtained 6,640,809, which gives him 51.03% after tabulating 270 electoral districts out of 275 electoral districts.
His closest contender, John Mahama of the Democratic National Congress (NDC) got 6,121,817, giving him 47.29% of the votes cast.
Other parties together, including the rejected votes, add up to 181,776 votes representing 1.40%.
