Afigya Kwabre North NPP Candidate distributes PPE to constituents

Collins Adomakoh Mensah, New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the northern Afigya Kwabre constituency of the Ashanti region, donated personal protective equipment (PPE) worth several thousand Ghana Cedis to some electoral areas within the constituency for help fight COVID-19.

The distribution, according to him, is part of his contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, his campaign team donated hand sanitizers, assorted personal hygiene items and protective equipment to help protect the front line from the spread of the coronavirus in the constituency.

Parliamentary candidates who are optimistic about winning the 2020 parliamentary elections told Otecnews in an interview that after the distribution in the Edubiase municipality called well-intentioned Ghanaians to unite to fight the deadly epidemic by affirming that their movement is not to buy votes but to contribute to the development of the country as a citizen.

His visit took him to Akom, Esaase, Nkwantakese and Denase on the first day where he paid tribute and interacted with the respective traditional leaders.

“The fight against the coronavirus is not an individual fight, it is a fight in which all, as Ghanaians, must unite and help our leaders to drive away this unknown disease. I call on all people, especially those who do good in our community, at least buy a disinfectant for the poor and destitute, “said Mr. Collins Adomakoh Mensah to the chiefs and people of Akom

His visit also took him to Nkwantakesehene, and Mr. Collins Adomakoh Mensah asked all residents of the constituency to vote en masse for him and Nana Addo in the upcoming general elections in December.

“Let us all behave during this pandemic era to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus,” he added.

Nkwantakese boss Nana Boakye Yam Ababio congratulated him and his team, dedicating the victory to their hard work. Nana called for a united front and urged him to bring the other contestants on board in the last primaries.
